Sketch Club

The Philadelphia Sketch Club is the one of the oldest, continuously operating clubs for professional artists in the U.S. Responding to the educational needs of the arts community at the time, the Club was founded in 1860 with the mission of supporting and nurturing visual artists. Distinguished members have included Thomas Eakins, N.C. Wyeth, Joseph Pennell and many more at the historic center city location, 235 S. Camac Street, Philadelphia. Currently on view: "Art of the Flower Exhibition," featuring two and three dimensional works in various media on the theme of flowers, through March 20.
